Day 01:Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi, meet and assistance at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Night stay in Delhi.
Day 02: Delhi
After breakfast proceed for city sightseeing tour of Delhi visiting Old & New Delhi.
OLD DELHI - A sight-seeing tour of Old Delhi would entail visiting the Raj Ghat - the memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated; Jama Masjid - the largest mosque in India.
NEW DELHI - An extensive sight-seeing tour of New Delhi would include a visit to the Qutub Minar, a drive along the ceremonial avenue - Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate, Parliament House, the President's Residence and would end with a drive through the Diplomatic Enclave. Night stay in Delhi.
Day 03: Delhi - Mathura (By Road)
After breakfast drive to Mathura. Arrive Mathura and transfer to hotel. Later visit Mathura.The Holy Birthplace of Lord Krishna - Mathura, a little town on the River Yamuna is synonymous with Lord Krishna who is believed have been born here. Alive with devotion to Lord Krishna - the evergreen hero of Hinduism, the lover of Radha and re-incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Night stay in Mathura.
Day 04: Mathura - Agra (By Road)
After breakfast drive to Agra. Arrive Agra and transfer to the hotel. Later proceed for city sightseeing tour of Agra, the home of the immortal Taj Mahal, the inimitable poem in white marble is the first expression of love of an Emperor Shahjahan for his queen Mumtaz Mahal. This great monument was completed in 1653 AD. Agra Fort, the imposing structure on the banks of the river Yamuna is replete with priceless examples of craftsmanship in the Mughal period, including the beautiful pearl Mosque; it was designed and built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 AD. Night stay in Agra.
Day 05: Agra - Gwalior - Orchha (By Road)
After breakfast and drive to Orchha en-route visits the majestic Gwalior Fort and Saas-Bahu Temples. Arrive Orchha and transfer to hotel. Later visit Orchha. Orchha is a historical site with magnificent temples and monuments. Some of the palaces were decorated with painted murals which represent the finest flowering of the Bundela School of painting. Night stay in Orchha.
Day 06: Orchha - Khajuraho (By Road)
Morning after breakfast and drive to Khajuraho. Arrive Khajuraho and check-in at the hotel. Afternoon visit of Khajuraho temples Khajuraho, once the great capital of Chandela, now a quiet town, Khajuraho temples here were built during the Chandela period from 950 to 1050 AD. Almost intriguing as the sheet beauty and the size of the templesis the question of why and how they were built here as Khajuraho is isolated, 1000 years ago as it is even today. Night stay in Khajuraho.
Day 7: Khajuraho - Varanasi (By flight)
Morning after departure transfer to the airport to catch flight for Varanasi. Arrive Varanasi and transfer to hotel. Evening view “Aarti” ceremony on the Ghats. Night stay in Varanasi
Day 8: Varanasi - Delhi (By Overnight Train)
Early morning enjoy boat cruise at the river Ganges to observe the way of life of pilgrims by the Ghats. Later back to the hotel and breakfast. After breakfast check-out from the hotel and proceed for city sightseeing tour of Varanasi. Varanasi, one of the oldest living cities in the world, believed to be founded 3000 years ago, is one of the 7 holiest cities of Hindus. It was a flourishing trading centre 500 BC when the Buddha came to Sarnath to preach his first sermon. A city of great wealth and religious importance when the Chinese traveller, Hiuen Tsang, visited it in the 7th century. Visit the Vishwanath Golden Temple, the abode of great God Shiva, Bharat Mata Temple, Durga Temple, Tulsi Manas Mandir and Banaras Hindu University. After visiting departure transfer to railway station to board the train for Delhi. Overnight in train
Day 9: Arrive Delhi - Goa (By flight)
Arrive Delhi and transfer to airport to board the flight for Goa. Arrive Goa and transfer to hotel. Night stay in Goa.
Day 10: Goa
After breakfast proceed on a city tour of Goa. Visit Old Goa, the most important Cathedrals and churches - namely Se-Cathedral, Church of St. Francis Xavier, St. Catherine's Church, and Arch of vice Roy of Goa. Miramar Beach - This is the only beach close to any city and has a good view of the river Mandovi flowing into the sea. Also visit Dona Paula fishing village which is a small village at the tip of Panaji, the place has a very good viewpoint and a monument at the same place. Night stay in Goa.
Day 11: Goa – Delhi & Departure
Morning after departure transfer to airport to board to the flight for Delhi. Arrive Delhi and catch the flight for onward Journey. Tour ends with sweet memories...
